Be sure you are on the correct site. There are copy-cat sites that will “ask” for a payment. The correct site will not.
2. Use Personal Information To Access Report
Information such as name, Social Security number, address, and birthdate.
In addition, for verification purposes, you may be asked a few specific questions about previous or current home addresses, loan accounts, and car information. If you can’t recall those details, you can request your reports by mail or phone; this process doesn’t require security questions.
3. Request a credit report or reports
You can order your reports from one, two or all three of the major credit bureaus: Equifax, Experian and TransUnion.
4. Generate and save your credit report online
You can save reports to your desktop or print them out so you’ll have access later.
